Symbiosis International (Deemed University) is a multi-disciplinary university offering its students and faculty a vibrant learning ecosystem designed around its multi-cultural and innovative ethos. Symbiosis was established in 1971 by Prof. Dr. S.B. Mujumdar, which was a ‘home away from home’ for international students. Today the university has its campuses spread across four states and 6 cities in India. The University has been awarded Category-I status by UGC, and an ‘A++’ grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC). It has been ranked 32nd in India by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2023, and 10th by Atal Ranking of Institutions on Innovation Achievement (ARIIA) 2021. Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies is the undergraduate management institute of the Symbiosis International (Deemed University).
SCMS started its journey in 2004 and what followed was a path of discovery, excitement and activities that has taken us one step ahead in our continuous quest for perfection. The cafeteria approach adopted by our curriculum, gives our students an edge as they can pursue their subjects of interest and specialize right at an undergraduate level.
Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) Honours/ Honours with Research is the name of the undergraduate management programme. The college offers 7 BBA specialisations such as Marketing Management, Human Resource Management, International Business, Accounts & Finance, Entrepreneurship, Business Analytics and Environment Management.

BBA Eligibility: (Indian Students)
Passed XII or equivalent course in any discipline from any recognized Board / Council / University with minimum 50% marks for general (open) category and 45% marks for students of SC and ST category.
Entrance Exam
After Qualifying the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) & online Personal Interaction (PI). Indian students will be admitted based on the merit list drawn out of the results of the selection process through SET and online PI (SET score 70% and PI 30%)
