Sydenham College is one of the constituent colleges of Dr. Homi Bhabha Cluster University, which is the third cluster university in the country. This is an innovative step towards higher education which will solemnly contribute towards application-oriented education. Sydenham College was established in October 1913. It is , the pioneer institution of commerce education not only in India, but also in the Asian continent. It was named after the then-governor of Bombay, Lord Sydenham of Combe. Indian Jurist and intellectual B.R. Ambedkar was a lecturer of the college. In the year 2019, Sydenham college was de-affiliated from Mumbai University and affiliated to Dr. Homi Bhabha State University.

Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS)
BMS is a three-year undergraduate course in Management Studies. The three years are spread over six semesters, i.e., each year has two semesters.

Rules for Admission:
Admissions are done based on merit, which is decided on the basis of the marks obtained in H.S.C. Examinations, as per the Rules of Dr. Homi Bhabha State University.
Eligibility:
A candidate for being eligible for admission to the B.M.S. Degree Course shall have passed H.S.C. Examination of the Maharashtra Board/its equivalent examination or Diploma in any Engineering branches with two years or three years duration after S.S.C. conducted by the Board of Technical Education, MS/its equivalent examination by securing minimum 35% marks (in one attempt) at the respective Examination.
