Rāmniranjan Ānandilāl Podār College of Commerce and Economics (Autonomous), popularly known as R.A Podar College is affiliated with the University of Mumbai, situated in Matunga, Mumbai, India. It is one of the leading commerce colleges in Mumbai city. It was the first non – government commerce college to be started by the University of Bombay in January 1941. The college was granted permanent affiliation by the then University of Bombay on 17th August 1950.
As a single faculty Commerce College, it offers six UG Degree Programs – B.Com, B.Com ( Actuarial Studies), BMS; BSc (Data Science), BBA (Shipping and Logistics Management), B. Com ( Financial Markets), five PG program- M.Com (Accountancy), M Com (Business Management), M.Com(Behavioural Finance), M.Com(Business Analytics), M.Com(International Business) and four Ph. D. programs – PhD in Commerce (Banking & Finance), PhD in Commerce (Business Policy & Administration), PhD in Commerce and PhD in Accountancy.

Eligibility Criteria:
Any student who has passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate (Standard XII) Examination conducted by the different divisional boards of the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education and secured not less than 45 percentage marks in aggregate (40 percentage in case of reserved category) at one and the same city. or
Must have passed any examination of another University or Board recognized as equivalent to Higher Secondary School Certificate (Standard XII) Examination and secured not less than 45 percentage marks in aggregate (40 percentage in case of reserved category) at one and the same city.
