PROGRESSIVE EDUCATION SOCIETY MODERN COLLEGE OF ARTS, SCIENCE AND COMMERCE
Modern College of Arts, Science and Commerce, Shivajinagar, Pune-5, established on 15th June 1970, is affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University. Our college is recognized by UGC under 2(f) and 12(B) since 1970. The college provides various academic amenities to attain Bachelor and Master Degrees in the fields of Arts, Science, Commerce, Computer Science and Computer Application. The college is a reputed educational institution, known for producing outstanding students, who successfully take different careers in the society as per their academic merit. The college was felicitated with the ‘Best College Award’ by Savitribai Phule Pune University in 2008 and 2020, reaccredited with ‘A’ grade by NAAC, Bangalore in March 2010, and A+ grade with CGPA 3.51 in January 2017.
The college ensures academic development of the students and provides them with opportunities to prove themselves by means of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. The Science association and Arts circle of the college work continuously towards the promotion of scientific and cultural activities.
COMMERCE STREAM
The Faculty of Commerce is a major wing of the college, having more than 2000 students. It was established in 1992 with student strength of 60. It offers undergraduate programs B.Com. BBA, BBA (IB) and BBA(CA), and a post graduate program M.Com. Faculty of Commerce is recognized as Research centre in Commerce by Savitribai Phule Pune University.

Admission Process:
The admission to B.B.A/B.B.A. (C.A)/ B.B.A. (I.B) Class for the academic year 2024-2025 will be given strictly on the basis of the merit of marks and rules of reservation.
Admissions will be confirmed / finalized on the basis of the performance, preference given by candidates, category wise available seats as per the reservation norms.
