University Grants Commission, New Delhi has conferred Autonomous Status to Pillai College of Arts, Commerce and Science on 24th June, 2019. The institution has risen from a simple beginning in 1998 to be the most popular institution catering successfully to the needs of rural, urban and global students with eight under-graduates and four post graduate programs to over 4000 students. College is permanently affiliated to the University of Mumbai and has been accorded with autonomous status by University Grant Commission from the academic year 2019-2020

Eligibility Criteria:

10+2 (any stream) with Mathematics. Minimum 60% marks at the respective examination.

Future Prospects:

• BCA graduates are in high demand, and hence, they can command good salary packages. The salary packages depend on the organization, job profile, and location. However, BCA graduates can expect a starting salary between 2.5 – 4 lakhs per annum.
• BCA graduates can pursue higher education in the field of computer science and applications. They can opt for Masters in Computer Applications (MCA), Masters in Data Analytics (M.Sc. (Data Analytics), Masters in Information Technology (M.Sc.(I.T.)), or even Ph.D. in Computer Science.
