Master of Arts [MA] is a 2-year postgraduate degree course that deals with the main areas of specialization such as Arts, Humanities and some areas of Social Science. The Master of Arts course aims to train the students to improve students’ critical thinking skills, analyze ideas and propositions, and communicate their views. Eligibility Criteria for MA Course

MA is a specialised course in which aspirants are offered in-depth knowledge of the discipline they have selected. The eligibility parameters for a MA programme Includes:

Bachelor degree (preferably arts) holders of a minimum 3 or 4-year duration with its equivalent (10+2+3 or 10+2+4). The degree should be from a university that is recognised by the UGC (University Grants Commission) of India.

A minimum of 55% aggregate at graduation level.

Candidates pursuing a three-year degree programme must clear all papers topics from 1st to 4th semester, while applicants pursuing a four-year degree programme must have attained passing marks in all the topics from the first to the sixth semester.
